The 2026 ECOWAS Immersion Internship Program is a one-year professional internship designed to integrate young graduates from West African countries into ECOWAS institutions, departments, agencies, and representations. It provides hands-on experience, career development, and an opportunity to contribute to regional integration and development.

- Citizens of ECOWAS member states
- Aged 18–32 years
- Holders of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD, or equivalent certificate
How Do They Choose Applicants?
Selections are made by a Technical Committee based on candidate profiles, program needs, and submitted documents. Only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
Which nations are qualified?
All ECOWAS member states: Benin, Cabo Verde, Côte d’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Togo.
Where will the prize be accepted?
ECOWAS institutions, departments, agencies, and representations across West Africa.
