The Orange Summer Challenge (OSC) 2025 is a free, fully-supported tech and innovation competition aimed at helping startups and young talents in Africa and the Middle East develop tech-based solutions with real social or environmental impact. π€ Who is eligible to apply for the Orange Summer Challenge?
For Individuals (βTalentsβ):
- Must be available throughout the project period
- Must show strong motivation and relevant tech, creative, or entrepreneurial skills
For Startups:
- Must propose a tech project aligned with the Startup4Good theme
- Must integrate hardware and software
- Must demonstrate strong social and/or environmental impact
- Can apply individually or as a team
- Must commit fully to project development
π How Do They Choose Applicants?
Applications are evaluated based on:
- Innovation: Creativity and originality of the idea
- Feasibility: Technical and operational viability
- Impact: Social or environmental value
- Commercial viability: Long-term sustainability and growth potential

Applicants must be based in one of the 15 participating countries:

π Where will the prize be accepted?
The program activities will take place in Orange Digital Centers and FabLabs across the participating countries, culminating in a regional final for selected projects.

Each participating country will select national winners, and 3 top projects from these winners will be chosen for international recognition and financial support.
