The University of Global Health Equity (UGHE), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, invites applications for the Master of Science in Health Professions Education (MSc-HPE) – Direct Entry Track.
This fully funded program prepares health educators and leaders to design, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, innovative, and equitable health professions programs across Africa. The pathway under the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is open to new MSc applicants who seek to advance health professions education in Africa.

Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be 35 years or under at the time of application (exceptions for applicants with disabilities).
- Be citizens, residents, or refugees of an African country.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field.
- Have teaching, supervision, or leadership experience in health-related higher education institutions (or show clear potential).
- Provide an institutional recommendation letter confirming support for participation.
- Not already hold a master’s degree (for Mastercard Foundation Scholarship applicants).
