The Liveability Challenge (TLC) is an annual global initiative presented by the Temasek Foundation and organized by Eco-Business. It seeks groundbreaking innovations to tackle urgent urban and climate challenges in the tropics. Since 2018, TLC has become Asia’s largest sustainability solutions platform, supporting start-ups with funding and ecosystem support to scale from lab to market. Finalists will pitch their solutions at the Grand Finale during Ecosperity Week 2026 in Singapore.

Two main challenge tracks:
- 🌍 Decarbonisation – disruptive deep-tech solutions to cut carbon emissions (e.g., waste-to-resource, renewable energy, energy efficiency).
- 🌱 Cool Earth – innovations addressing climate-induced extreme weather (e.g., heat mitigation, nature-based solutions).

- S$1 million for each top 2 solutions per track
- Up to S$2 million in development funding from A*STAR for Decarbonisation track solutions
