This scheme is designed to equip our young people with the requisite knowledge and skills, thereby equipping them for effective participation in the Federal Government’s Local Content Programme. Applicants must have studied or gained admission to study in one of the following disciplines:
- Engineering
- Agricultural Sciences
- Environmental Sciences
- Geosciences
- Humanities
- Information Technology (ICT)
- Law
- Management and Social Sciences
- Medical Sciences

Fully Funded Local Master’s Scholarship
Who is eligible to apply?
Applicants must:
- Be indigenes of the Niger Delta Region (Abia, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Imo, Ondo, Rivers)
- Be no older than 40 years
- Hold at least a Second Class Lower Bachelor’s Degree, or
- Hold an HND with Upper Credit plus a PGD
- Have secured admission into a recognized Nigerian university for a Master’s program

Selection is based on:
- Academic merit
- Valid admission into a relevant Master’s program
- Submission of complete documentation
- Endorsement of good conduct from recognized community or political leaders
