The Business & Human Rights Accelerator is a six-month program designed to help companies participating in the UN Global Compact move swiftly from commitment to action on human rights and labor rights. The program equips businesses to establish an ongoing human rights due diligence process aligned with international standards.

The program is open across all industries and regions, as long as companies are engaged (or willing to engage) in the UN Global Compact.

Who is eligible to apply?
Companies that are:
- Participants of the UN Global Compact are willing to join.
- Committed to completing the program and embedding learnings into operations.
- Currently engaged with a Global Compact Country Network (or willing to join).
- Ready to identify human rights risks and impacts in their value chain.
- Able to appoint two working-level representatives and one executive-level representative for the program.
How do they choose applicants?
Applicants are selected based on their commitment to the UN Global Compact principles, readiness to implement a human rights due diligence process, and ability to dedicate representatives to participate in the program actively.
Which nations are qualified?
Open to companies globally. In-country tracks are available in over 40 countries (including Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, the USA, the UK, Brazil, Germany, and more). Companies outside these regions can apply for the global track.
Where will the prize be accepted?
Delivered through in-country tracks (local language & time zone), regional tracks (Africa, Asia, and Latin America), and a global track (in English).
How many honors?
Not specified. Multiple companies from different industries and regions will be selected.
