Through tailored advice, focused technical assistance, and access to a thriving community of entrepreneurs, experts, and investors, the program assists you in becoming investor-ready and expanding.

A free, one-year, tailor-made support program that helps African AgriFoodTech and agri-adjacent start-ups become investment-ready, grow their businesses, and access a vibrant network of investors, experts, and peers.
Which fields qualify?
Start-ups in agriculture and agri-adjacent sectors such as climate, livestock, energy, biotech, fintech, circular economy, logistics, and other related fields.
The type:
Business Accelerator / Investment Readiness Program.
Who is eligible to apply?
- For-profit companies registered in Africa (excluding South Africa).
- Pre-seed to Series A stage start-ups.
- Teams with at least two people in management.
- Must have an MVP, revenue, and paying customers.
- Must demonstrate relevance/impact in agriculture or related sectors.
How Do They Choose Applicants?
Evaluation is based on business model, technology, team capacity, traction, and impact. Priority is given to start-ups with local founders and gender-diverse teams.
Which nations are qualified?
All African countries except South Africa.
Where will the prize be accepted?
Across Africa with in-person events in Nairobi, Kenya, and other sector conferences.
How Many Honors?
Dozens of African agri-tech start-ups are selected each year (100+ portfolio companies to date).
